Being a Village Friends, Inc. volunteer.
Village Friends, Inc. relies on volunteers. We welcome anyone who has a passion for helping older adults remain in their own homes and connected to their community. We expect our volunteers to share the heart of our mission by being available (on their own time) for a member in need, or by helping to plan an outing with our staff.
We are looking for your skills and passion. Can you help a neighbor to appointments, change a light bulb, help a grandparent Skype with their grandchildren, or weed a garden? Village Friends, Inc. needs people like you who are willing to help their community in these simple ways. There are a variety of ways to help that will fit your skills and schedule.

How much time is expected of volunteers?
We welcome any level of volunteer activity. One hour a day, a week, a month… Any time you are able to share with us, we value it. We want you to be able to comfortably contribute to our Village and are grateful for your willingness to serve.
What requirements are necessary to become a volunteer?
All Village Friends, Inc. volunteers must pass a background check, sign a Confidentiality Agreement and Liability Waiver before they are assigned any volunteer opportunities.
